Music Tuition Prices

Music tuition with Primavolta gives you a fantastic service to support the long term learning of a musical instrument.  Our pricing is based on the following -

1)  We provide all our tuition in your home.  You do not need to travel or waste time waiting each week in a music school. We come to you in most of the adverse weather that the UK has to throw at us all so you don't have to.  If you are a parent you can get on with what it is you need to do at home.  We believe this is invaluable to you in a busy world.  It also saves you fuel!

2)  We have a website that acts as a music resource library.  All students can access up-to-date music to inspire development.  There is nothing better than learning a song you know rather than ones you have never heard of.  All our students can pick songs they want included within the site.  This should also save in purchasing music books!

3)  We aim to attract the best teachers to provide our specialist service with the highest qualifications and experience.  Many of our teachers are also performers with experience of the music industry.

4)  We are set up like a school.  Every teacher has a manager to monitor their progress to maintain high quality teaching standards.  It also gives you someone to speak to if you were to have any concerns or questions.

5)  Younger students are able to take part in our 'Pupil of the Year' scheme where they can win prizes.  This is included in the cost.

6)  Every student can have a playing log to record the playing and/or music theory that is required of them during the week.

7)  If a Primavolta teacher leaves us for pastures new, we will work hard to give you continuity in your music tuition by aiming to find an appropriate teacher to continue your lessons.  This saves you the hard work of looking for a new teacher so you can relax that your tuition is being taken care of.

8)  Our teachers are rewarded for being the best they can be and we encourage feedback on the teaching you receive to help us with this process.

9)  We check new teachers with the DBS (old CRB) on application for your reassurance.

As such, our pricing reflects the above to help maintain constant improvement in our website and to include travel costings to your home each and every week. Please bear this in mind when comparing us with 'physical' music schools.

These are the prices for lessons until 31st August 2016 - Guaranteed!

The lessons are always to be paid in 5 weekly blocks up front once you are happy with the teacher we have chosen for you.  This is to avoid lesson time being wasted collecting payment each week and to keep your regular booked time slot.

20 minutes - £11.50 (£57.50 a block)

30 minutes - £15.50 (£77.50 a block)

40 minutes - £20.70 (£103.50 a block)

London Pricing

London pricing is as above + £5 per lesson regardless of the length of lesson.  This is to take into account cost of living for teachers in the area and local competition. Don't want to pay more?  Why not try Skype tuition with one of our teachers from outside of London?  This would allow you to avoid the £5 extra charge and still benefit from our music tuition.  London is classed as any area/postcode within the M25.

Lesson Cancellations

Teaching numerous pupils makes organising a time slot difficult without considerate notice of cancellations.  As such, once a lesson has been booked and agreed, any cancellation must be paid for to take into account the rearranging the teacher has to do for other lessons.  If you are wanting to cancel your regular slot, 10 days notice has to be given to avoid paying for the slot.  This is to give plenty of time to rearrange the schedule for that day and to avoid inconveniencing other pupils.  By taking out tuition with Primavolta you agree to these cancellation terms.
